Getting Started
The screenshot displays the basic parts of the program's main window.
To create a slide show, just select a folder with pictures, add them to the Slide List, and click Play to run.
The File and Slide Lists allow you to view your pictures and slides as thumbnails, which makes it easier to change their sequence or sort them.
The Project List can contain a list of your frequently used slide show projects. You can open a project by a double-click.
Music
To add your music files, click the Sound button. In the Sync Playlist window, add your music files to the playlist. Click OK to save the playlist.
Then you can allocate your slides on the timeline of the Sync Playlist
using the Timeline view of the Slide List.
Project and Slide Settings
To open the Project Settings window, click the Settings button at
the right of the Slide List. This window allows you to change the
basic project settings like "Repeat", "Close after finish", "Random
order", display the special Start Screen (with the Filmstrip and
Previews mode) and the Thumbnail Panel during the slide show.
Each slide in your slide show project has its own settings. To change the Slide Settings,
select a slide (or a group of slides) and click the [...] button in
the Settings column of the Slide List or use the right-click popup
menu in any view of the Slide List. The Slide Settings window
contains the following four pages: Slide, Caption, Transition and
Motion.
Transition effects
MySlideShow offers various transition effects. You can select any effect from the list or let the program select it randomly. It's possible to remove some
transitions from the random list. Right-click on a transition item and select Disable.
Start Screens
Using the Start Screen feature you can view your slide pictures as thumbnails in the Filmstrip and Previews modes and run the slide show. The program will display your slide captions under the corresponding thumbnails.
The feature is especially useful for creating photo albums.
Albums
MySlideShow's album is a group of several slide shows. The program can display it as a menu and create an
output executable file for placing the album on a CD.
It is possible to customize album colors and fonts, add images and captions for menu items.
Output
When you are satisfied with the structure of your slide show, you can create a standalone executable slide show or a video file (in different formats), or burn an autorunnable PC CD-ROM, Video CD or DVD.
Also the additional Flash Gallery plug-in allows you to create a simple Flash slide show for publishing on the web.
